Preparing Students for Academic and Athletic Success
Approved high school courses at ISOK meet the academic standards set by the NCAA, ensuring that student-athletes are prepared for the rigor of college coursework and meet the academic requirements for NCAA eligibility.
Reaching NCAA eligibility ensures your child can compete in collegiate sports and receive athletic scholarships and financial aid.
The NCAA’s eligibility requirements are:
- Graduate from high school
- Complete a minimum of 16 approved NCAA core courses
- Earn a minimum GPA in core courses
- Earn a qualifying test score on the SAT or ACT
- Request a final amateurism certification from the NCAA Eligibility Center
There are additional requirements for Division I student-athletes.
Flexible Online Learning for Student-Athletes
Beyond NCAA-approved courses, ISOK offers student-athletes the flexibility to practice and train as needed. With our personalized learning approach, students are empowered to learn anywhere, anytime, as long as they have an internet connection.
We also help student-athletes manage their time effectively to balance both athletics and academics. Nevertheless, our Oklahoma-certified teachers always provide support, instruction, and guidance to ensure students stay on track for graduation.
