About Me

Hello! My name is Mrs. Cotton, and I’m so excited to be part of the ISOK family. This is my sixth year teaching, and I’m proud to say it’s my third year at ISOK! I truly love what I do and feel incredibly grateful to be part of a school that values connection, growth, and student success.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have two wonderful daughters who keep life joyful and busy. Teaching at ISOK allows me to balance my love for education with the importance of family — something I cherish deeply.

• I’m a book lover — reading is one of my favorite ways to unwind and learn.
• I have two adorable dogs: a playful Labrador and a spunky Dachshund.
• Family time is everything to me — whether it’s game night, outdoor adventures, or cozy movie marathons.
• I’m a big fan of iced coffee — it’s my go-to fuel for busy days and early mornings!

What I Teach

I teach Algebra 1, and I absolutely love helping students discover the beauty and logic of mathematics. Whether we’re solving equations or exploring real-world applications, I strive to make math engaging, accessible, and fun for every learner.
