Hello, ISOK family! I’m excited to share a little about myself and my journey in education.

I’ve been working in education since 2012, starting out as a middle school language arts teacher before transitioning into the role of a high school counselor. This year marks my fifth year at ISOK, and I can honestly say I work with the best students and coworkers!

Currently, I serve as a high school academic counselor for students with last names Q–Z. My passion lies in helping at-risk students discover their strengths and build the confidence they need to create a successful and meaningful life after high school. And yes—one of the perks of working at ISOK is definitely comfy pants!

On a personal note, my husband, Jeremy, and I have been married for 18 years. We are blessed with two amazing boys—Layton (15) and Wyatt (8)—who make us proud and keep us busy!

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me cheering on my boys at their sporting events, serving at church, attending concerts, or planning our next adventure. In fact, I own a travel agency and love exploring new places whenever possible! Travel is a big part of my life, and I enjoy every opportunity to see the world.

Working at ISOK is more than just a job—it’s a calling. I love being part of a team that empowers students and helps them succeed beyond high school. Watching students grow and thrive is the most rewarding part of what I do.

Thank you for letting me share my story. Here’s to another great year at ISOK!
