Chasing Championships While Earning a Diploma

Just four years ago, Insight School of Oklahoma (ISOK) student Mack had never raced a dirt bike.

Today, the Coalgate teen competes in the 250 B amateur class in two of the nation’s premier off-road racing series: the Grand National Cross Country series and the American National Enduro Championship. After only three seasons of competition, Mack has earned multiple championship finishes and first-place victories within his class. Although he remains an amateur, he competes as part of the pro race and is expected to advance to the A class in 2027.

Mack’s dedication and rapid rise in the sport recently earned him recognition in The Atoka County Times.

Throughout the racing season, Mack spends much of the year training and traveling across the country to compete. His days begin with workouts before hours of practice on the bike, with schoolwork often taking place in the evenings.

When his racing schedule became more demanding, Mack needed a school that could keep pace with his goals. ISOK’s flexible online learning environment allows him to continue working toward his high school diploma while pursuing opportunities that take him far beyond the classroom.
