ISOK Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Marsh

Stories & Spotlights
Susan Marsh

With an impressive 28 years in education, Mrs. Marsh brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and personality to the classroom. She teaches Science, covering nearly every subject in the discipline—except Physics. (She’ll be the first to tell you that was a very intentional choice!) Over the years, she has taught Basic, Regular, Pre-AP, and AP courses, giving her a broad and well-rounded teaching background. Her absolute favorite subject to teach is Chemistry, which she describes as by far the most fun.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Marsh has a full and lively family life. She has four children, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She’s also the proud owner of six dogs and jokingly admits that she might enjoy spending time with them just as much as—if not more than—her grandkids (she mostly says she’s kidding!).

Mrs. Marsh loves traveling and spending time with her kids, cheering on OU Football and Softball, and enjoying her favorite cuisine—Italian food. Known for her great sense of humor and insanely sarcastic wit, she brings energy, laughter, and authenticity to everything she does.

ISOK is fortunate to have Mrs. Marsh’s passion for science, dedication to students, and unforgettable personality as part of the team.
