Mental Health Support For Students and Families
At Insight School of Oklahoma, we are committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of our students and their families. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Cook Center for Human Connection, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mental health through proven programs, partnerships, and resources.
In partnership with the Cook Center for Human Connection, we’re excited to provide support the mental health of our students and their families, providing them with access to ParentGuidance.org, a trusted Mental Health and Wellness Resource Center. This platform provides expert advice from leading therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists, helping families navigate some of the toughest parenting and childcare challenges.
- Counseling services for students: short-term, solution-focused counseling sessions to address specific issues. Students 18 years and older can now participate independently, without requiring parental involvement.
- One-on-one parent coaching with cognitive behavioral health coaches.
- A regularly updated “Ask a Therapist” forum, where you can find answers to common questions.
- On-demand parenting courses, featuring over 50 classes in both English and Spanish, taught by licensed clinicians. Topics include anxiety, depression, bullying, social media, substance abuse, and more.
This valuable resource is available to all families in our district completely free of charge, offering compassionate and confidential support as you care for your and/or your student mental health.
